The Commonwealth’s lawyer at the falls — Norfolk is not the capital
The Attorney General of Virginia is the Commonwealth’s lawyer. One office. The whole map. Article V, Section 15 of the Constitution of Virginia names the Attorney General among the executive officers. The term is four years. The next regular election is Tuesday, November 6, 2029. Last regular: 4 November 2025. Virginia does not elect this desk in 2026. Virginia does not elect this desk in 2027.
