What this office is

A United States Senator is a federal legislator elected by the whole state. Kansas has two Senate seats. This page is Class III — the other of those two. The term is six years. Class III is the longer remaining regular clock after 2026. The geography is still the state: a wheat and cattle inbox, a Flint Hills inbox, a river-town inbox on the Missouri, and a capital that already has a Class II file. Senate casework does not stop at Sedgwick County.
