How the job fits this community

Texas’s congressional map for the 2026 ballot is PlanC2333 (HB 4), signed 29 August 2025. A federal court blocked it; the U.S. Supreme Court stayed that order on 4 December 2025. Unless a later order says otherwise, PlanC2333 is the map — not the 2021 lines. Confirm on VoteTexas and the official district viewer. Look up the address.

The 13th is the Panhandle and west Texoma: Amarillo, Wichita Falls, plus the college city of Denton. Sherman is the 4th. This is not a compact Panhandle-only seat. Confirm the address.

Federal work here is a plains inbox and a Denton inbox. Amarillo files the Panhandle. Wichita Falls files Texoma. Denton files a DFW-north campus city far from the rest of the seat. Staff who treat Denton as a Dallas-only seat are on the wrong line.
