How the job fits this community
Ohio’s congressional map for the 2026 ballot is the map the Ohio Redistricting Commission adopted on 31 October 2025. The Secretary of State says those federal lines are the ones used beginning with the 2026 cycle. The 2022 four-year map is retired. Confirm on the Secretary of State, district maps, voter lookup, and the commission.
On the 2025 drawing the 1st is Cincinnati and neighboring Hamilton County pieces, stretching north into Warren and Clinton country. That northward reach is the 2025 change — this is not a compact 2022 Hamilton-only memory. Hamilton is split with the 2nd and the 8th. Confirm the address.
Federal work here is a river city inbox and two north-of-town counties on the same payroll. Cincinnati files SSA, USCIS, and a downtown volume. Warren and Clinton file a suburb-and-county-seat inbox. Staff who only know the basin are not doing the 2025 job.
