How the job fits this community
The 2026 ballot uses Minnesota’s 2022 court map. The 3rd is the west metro: western Hennepin suburbs commonly listed as Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Plymouth, Maple Grove, and neighbors on that drawing.
Hennepin County is split with the 5th (Minneapolis and the inner cities). Confirm the address.
Federal work here is a professional suburb: passports, IRS, SSA, and a corporate-campus workforce. The lakes are not the job. Casework is. The office is a suburban desk that still has to know the inner-county line.
The Representative is the human hinge between this west-metro map and Washington.

There is no single Tuesday. In Washington: a visitor from Plymouth or Bloomington. In the district: office hours that look like a civic campus, not a farm town.
