How the job fits this community
Louisiana’s congressional map for the 2026 ballot is Senate Bill 121, signed 29 May 2026. The 2024 court map with two majority-Black seats is retired. Confirm on the Secretary of State and voter portal. Louisiana uses a jungle primary on 3 November 2026; if no one clears 50 percent, a runoff is 12 December 2026.
The 3rd is southwestern Louisiana: Lafayette and Lake Charles and the Cajun-and-coast parishes on that drawing. Confirm the official list.
Federal work here is two energy-and-campus cities and a hurricane coast. Lafayette files a university inbox. Lake Charles files a plant-and-port climate. Storm files land after every named storm. The same Member holds both.
