How the job fits this community
The 2026 ballot uses Indiana’s 2023 map. The 3rd is northeast Indiana, centered on Fort Wayne (Allen County) and the surrounding counties on that drawing.
This is not South Bend and not the Indianapolis suburbs. Confirm the official line.
Federal work here is a mid-size manufacturing and medical city plus rural northeast counties. Fort Wayne files like a regional capital. The out-counties file SSA and USDA. The same office holds both.
