How the job fits this community
California’s congressional map for the 2026 ballot is Proposition 50 (AB 604), adopted by voters on 4 November 2025. The U.S. Supreme Court allowed the map in February 2026. Unless a later order says otherwise, Proposition 50 is the map — not the 2021 Citizens Redistricting Commission lines. Confirm on the California Secretary of State and the voter-status lookup. Look up the address.
The 51st is east San Diego County: El Cajon, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Lakeside, Spring Valley, Rancho San Diego, and a San Diego city share. Chula Vista is the 52nd. Confirm the address.
Federal work here is an El Cajon inbox and a La Mesa inbox. Lemon Grove and Lakeside file the east-county towns. Staff who treat Chula Vista or Coronado as this seat are on the wrong number.
