How the job fits this community
California’s congressional map for the 2026 ballot is Proposition 50 (AB 604), adopted by voters on 4 November 2025. The U.S. Supreme Court allowed the map in February 2026. Unless a later order says otherwise, Proposition 50 is the map — not the 2021 Citizens Redistricting Commission lines. Confirm on the California Secretary of State and the voter-status lookup. The 43rd is the south-bay inland cities: Inglewood, Compton, Hawthorne, Gardena, Lawndale, Lennox, Willowbrook, Westmont, and a Torrance share. Torrance is split with the 36th. Confirm the address.
Federal work here is an Inglewood inbox and a Compton inbox. Hawthorne and Gardena file the inland South Bay. Torrance is split — look the address up. Staff who treat all of Torrance or Carson as this seat are on the wrong number.
