How the job fits this community
California’s congressional map for the 2026 ballot is Proposition 50 (AB 604), adopted by voters on 4 November 2025. The U.S. Supreme Court allowed the map in February 2026. Unless a later order says otherwise, Proposition 50 is the map — not the 2021 Citizens Redistricting Commission lines. Confirm on the California Secretary of State and the voter-status lookup. Look up the address.
The 3rd is now Sacramento County pieces, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Auburn, Nevada County (Truckee, Grass Valley), and El Dorado pieces including South Lake Tahoe. Roseville left. Lincoln left — Lincoln is the 4th. The old 3rd’s Death Valley reach (Inyo / Mono / Alpine) left. Confirm the address.
Federal work here is a capital-side inbox and a Sierra inbox. Folsom and Rancho Cordova file the east-Sacramento cities. Auburn files Placer that is not Roseville. Truckee and South Lake Tahoe file the mountain towns. Staff who still file Roseville or Lincoln here are on the 2021 map.
