How the job fits this community
California’s congressional map for the 2026 ballot is Proposition 50 (AB 604), adopted by voters on 4 November 2025. The U.S. Supreme Court allowed the map in February 2026. Unless a later order says otherwise, Proposition 50 is the map — not the 2021 Citizens Redistricting Commission lines. Confirm on the California Secretary of State and the voter-status lookup. Look up the address.
The 24th is the south Central Coast: all of Santa Barbara County, most of San Luis Obispo County, and part of Ventura County — Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, Ojai, Lompoc, and Goleta. Paso Robles and Atascadero are the 19th. Confirm the address.
Federal work here is a Santa Barbara inbox and a San Luis Obispo inbox. Santa Maria and Lompoc file the north county. Ventura and Ojai file the Ventura share. Staff who treat Paso Robles or Oxnard as this seat are on the wrong number.
