Do not skip this race because the Governor is also on the ballot. The Governor is two years and is hired statewide, including by people who do not live in this county. A Burlington mayoral clock is a city clock. The capital’s county hires a different Sheriff in Washington.
County-office petitions: 100 signatures, major-party filing with the county clerk. Vermont mails the general ballot by October 1 — vote.vermont.gov. Polls close 7 p.m. Confirm on the Secretary of State.
