Kent is the middle of Delaware’s three counties and the capital county. Dover is the capital of the State. Legislative Hall, the Supreme Court, and the Department of Elections state office sit on this map. Wilmington is New Castle. Georgetown is Sussex. Rehoboth is Sussex. There is no fourth county.
Municipalities include Dover, Smyrna, Camden, Wyoming, Harrington, Clayton, Frederica, Bowers, Leipsic, Little Creek, Kenton, Farmington, Cheswold, and the Kent streets of Milford (the city crosses the Sussex line — confirm the address). Newark is New Castle. Seaford is Sussex.

Kent’s county government is the Levy Court, a name the other two counties do not use for their boards. Not a County Executive. Not Sussex County Council. Row officers remain. Cities and towns still run municipal police, fire, and schools. Dover Air Force Base is federal land in this county and is not a county department. Vaughn in Smyrna is DOC.
The Sheriff is four years, Article III § 22, 2026 / 2030 / 2034 on the Department of Elections table. The Governor is 2028. The Mayor of Dover is April 2027. Keep the desks apart.
St. Jones, not the Atlantic
The St. Jones is this river. Killens Pond is this water. Bombay Hook is this Delaware Bay shore — a refuge, not a boardwalk. No ocean beach as the county story. No Wilmington skyline as the county hall. Staff who paste a Rehoboth dune onto The Green are on the wrong county.

Levy Court commissioners sit by district plus at-large as the current table says — confirm on the official Kent site. Department of Elections Kent County Office is at 100 Enterprise Place, Suite 5, Dover. A student uses town pages, the State jobs board, or the Sheriff’s official listing. Do not send a Harrington family to Wilmington for a county paper.

Each municipality has a site. Dover’s site does not speak for Harrington. The Sheriff’s listing speaks for process and court. DOC’s listing speaks for Vaughn. The base has a federal door. Outreach that only knows Legislative Hall tourism is not doing Frederica.
