Malvern is the hall. Hot Springs is Garland. The springs left in 1873.

Hot Spring County, Arkansas, was formed 2 November 1829 by the Territorial Legislature from part of Clark County. AAC: the name came from the natural hot springs that later became world famous as a part of Garland County. Garland County was created in 1873 and took Hot Springs with it. Malvern is the county seat. Malvern is also the large city on this map. Rockport, Magnet Cove, Donaldson, Friendship, Perla, Bismarck, and Glen Rose are not the hall.

This is not Garland County. This is not the city of Hot Springs. This is not Hot Springs National Park as this government. This is not Hot Springs County, Wyoming. Little Rock is the capital of Arkansas. It does not sit here.

The courthouse lists at 210 Locust Street, Malvern, AR 72104 — constructed 1936 by the WPA of local brick. AAC: Malvern calls itself the Brick Capital of the World. Brickfest is land, not this oval. The Sheriff lists at 215 East Highland Avenue, Suite 119. The county jail lists at 1 Detention Lane.

Places include Malvern, Rockport, Magnet Cove, and the Ouachita remainder. 2020 census: 33,040. This page is Side One for the place. The Sheriff’s job — brick-city remainder patrol and the 2009 house at 1 Detention Lane this badge still holds — is taught at Office of the Sheriff — Hot Spring County.

Eleven JPs at 210 Locust. Separate collector. They do not sit in Hot Springs as this county.

Hot Spring is a County Judge plus an eleven-member Quorum Court of Justices of the Peace. Amendment 55 made the Judge the executive and the Quorum Court the legislature. County Judge lists at 210 Locust Street. They fund roads, the Locust Street hall, and the Sheriff’s budget. They do not hire the Sheriff. The people do. Malvern City Council is a city body. Hot Springs City Council is Garland.

County Clerk and Circuit Clerk are separate at 210 Locust. This county elects a separate Collector at 210 Locust. Do not invent a combined Sheriff-Collector here. Confirm live at arcounties.org/counties/hot-spring. 7th Judicial Circuit (with Grant).

The Sheriff is four years, Arkansas Constitution Article 7, § 46 as amended by Amendment 95, on the gubernatorial table. Last regular Tuesday, 8 November 2022. Next regular Tuesday, 3 November 2026. Preferential primary Tuesday, 3 March 2026 (already sat). Take office 1 January 2027. The Governor is 2026. That is a different desk in Little Rock. Ouachita River, I-30, Lake Catherine. Little Rock is the capital and it is not here.

Forest ridges and river bottomland. Ouachita Mountains in the north and west. I-30, U.S. 67, U.S. 270, and U.S. 70 are through roads. The Ouachita River runs this map. Lake Catherine is water, not this oval. Garland is north — Hot Springs is that hall. Saline is northeast. Grant is east — Sheridan is that hall. Dallas is southeast — Fordyce is that hall. Clark is southwest — Arkadelphia is that hall. Montgomery is northwest. Staff who paste a Hot Springs bathhouse onto Locust Street, or treat Malvern as Garland, or file Little Rock as this seat, are on the wrong county.

This Sheriff is not that badge. Crime in Hot Springs is Garland. The Sheriff’s own jail page: house opened March 2009. ASA lists males only, capacity 50. That house is this badge’s shop (A.C.A. § 12-41-502). Ouachita River Correctional Unit at 100 Walco Lane is ADC. It is not this jailer. Female housing: confirm the live door before you drive.

Civil process and court security at 210 Locust are the Sheriff. Rights do not change in the pines. Remedy for Malvern Police is the City. Remedy for Hot Springs Police is Garland. Remedy for a Sheriff’s paper is the Sheriff. Relief when I-30 ices is this count first.

What this brick county actually watches

Court calendar on Locust. A wreck on I-30. Fog toward Rockport. High water on the Ouachita. Ice toward Magnet Cove. Coordination with Malvern Police and Arkansas State Police without becoming those departments. Coordination with Garland’s Sheriff or Grant’s Sheriff is mutual aid between two offices, not a merger, and not a reason to file Hot Springs as this hall. A bathhouse photograph does not steal the seat. Little Rock remains the capital. This remains Malvern.
