Grant County, Arkansas, was created 4 February 1869 from parts of Hot Spring, Jefferson, and Saline counties. It is named for Ulysses S. Grant. Association of Arkansas Counties: Sheridan is the county seat. 2020 census: 17,958. About 633 square miles of rolling pine. This is not Sheridan, Wyoming. This is not Grant County in another state.
