Cumberland did not take the Optional County Charter Executive form. A seven-member Board of County Commissioners is the legislative board. That is not Atlantic’s Executive. That is not Essex’s Executive in Newark. Cape May has five Commissioners and is still a different peninsula. Gloucester also has seven and is still a different Delaware bank.

South Woods State Prison sits in Bridgeton. Bayside State Prison sits in Maurice River Township. Both are state. No Boardwalk as the county hall. No Palisades as the county story. Staff who paste a casino onto Bridgeton are on the wrong county.

Each municipality has a site. Vineland’s site does not speak for Greenwich. The Sheriff’s listing speaks for court, process, warrants, and transport. The Cumberland County Jail at 54 West Broad Street is Department of Corrections — a Warden, not this Sheriff. The County Clerk is at 60 West Broad Street. Do not send a Downe family to Trenton for a county paper. Do not send them to Vineland tourism for a writ.
