2026 Special — Florida Class III

This is Side Two
This page is the arena for this class, this cycle. It is where competition lives. Debate, live conference, and candidate ads belong here later.
It is not a campaign. It does not crown a winner. It does not tell you who to vote for.
For what the job is, use the office twin.
When
- Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026 — confirm on the Division of Elections.
- This is a special for the remainder of the Class III term (through 3 January 2029). It is not the next regular six-year election. That regular is 2028.
Florida’s Class I seat is not on this ballot.
Ohio also fills a Class III remainder in 2026. That is not this office.
Who is on the ballot
Do not take names from a news comment or a text thread.
- Official candidate list / sample ballot — dos.fl.gov/elections
- Registration — Check voter status
- Current Senator of record (not the same thing as the 2026 special nominee) — Senate.gov
If a site and the official sample ballot disagree, the sample ballot wins.
What you are hiring
You are hiring a United States Senator for the whole state — Class III, remainder of this term, not a new six-year clock. Read the office page before you read a mailer. This is not a House district and not Class I.
The next regular election for this class is still 2028.
How to stay out of rumor
- Registration: official Florida voter status
- Mail, early voting, and primary windows: official sites only
- “You can vote by text” and other shortcuts: treat as false until a .gov page says otherwise
- A mailer that treats this special as a brand-new six-year term is mixing clocks
This briefing will not invent voting procedures. It will not crown a 2026 winner.
Debate and live (next state of this door)
This URL is the room. Discourse and live conference for this class land here when CIC says so — not on the textbook, not on SuperPack, not on WordPress.
