A commissioner list is not a Facebook thread
A resident who was mistreated by a state agency, a tax bill that never moved, or a district office that would not answer files on official doors: the Representative’s district office, the committee of jurisdiction (often Appropriations or Taxation), the Commissioner of Political Practices where that statute actually reaches, the courts, and — for election process — the Secretary of State and the county election administrator. A Facebook thread is not a grievance.
A hole in this chamber is not a Governor appointment. It is a county-commissioner appointment from a same-party list (MCA 5-2-402). The House appointee serves the remainder. Confirm on the Secretary of State. Do not invent a caucus. Do not invent a 2026 skip because 2025 already sat. Impeachment, when it is actually this constitution’s file, is articles in the House and a Senate trial — not a comment.
Fire year, drought year, a river that starts here
Relief this chamber actually votes is a statute and an appropriation that must start here. A vacancy after the general is still a commissioner appointment, not a tweet. A map fight is a Districting Commission file and a court file. Do not transplant another state’s even-year sitting onto Montana. Do not transplant Nebraska’s unicameral onto this page.
