This is not a Governor race. Nevada’s statewide ballot is a different office. Clark County’s clock is not this hire.

What you are hiring
You are hiring the Mayor of Carson City for this consolidated municipality — four years, chair of the Board of Supervisors, a City Manager on the daily desk. Read the office page first. Politics, law, technology, justice, ministry, education, intelligence, and outreach on this land are the job. Not a slogan. The Strip is a different city. Reno is a different city.
Remedy — when a Carson Street went wrong
A resident who was mistreated files on the municipality’s official complaint and professional-standards doors, not on a comment section. Internal affairs for public safety, fire investigation for fire, the Board of Supervisors as a check, and the courts. The courthouse on Musser is not a comment section. Send people to carson.org.
Relief — Sierra fire before the state desk
Wildland fire at the foothills, blizzard on the grade, heat, a wreck on U.S. 50 or U.S. 395, a water-main break in the valley. Mutual aid with surrounding counties is real. Reno is not Carson City’s firehouse. The Governor’s emergency desk is later. This hydrant is first.
Service — Eagle Valley is the job
Papers the municipality has to serve. Transports. A plow on a Sierra approach. A ladder company on Carson Street. Streetlights. The staff is the office. A serious Mayor is a serious principal: clear priorities, honest service requests, no rumor as policy.
Due process — even November is the clock
Arrest, booking, presentment, property, permits, hearings. The Constitution does not pause because a radio is busy. Civil service and union clocks are real. Filing runs through the Clerk-Recorder, not a campaign site. Do not teach a shortcut.
Rights — four wards, one valley
Counsel. Property. Peaceable assembly on the Capitol grounds and in the neighborhoods. Equal protection from every ward. The Mayor is a servant of this municipality, not a brand.
