Staff who paste a Maryville, Tennessee, courthouse onto Second Avenue East, or treat Blountsville as today’s hall, or file “Birmingham precinct,” are on the wrong county.

Do not send a family looking for a county booking to Oneonta City Hall. Civil process and courthouse security at 220 Second Avenue East are the Sheriff. Rights do not change at the Locust Fork. Remedy for Oneonta Police is the City. Remedy for a Sheriff’s paper is the Sheriff. Relief when the Fork comes up is this count first.
